“Västerås` Fria Gymnasium” is a free school with national admission. Its´ responsible authority are KLK Vård ( KLK Care) and Utbildning AB (Education PLC). The school was grounded in 2003. The concept of the free school means that the local authority isn´t the responsible authority, the school is admission free and supervised by the board of education.
Our educational rooms are situated in Västerås only 5 minutes walk from the railway station.
Our students may choose irrespective of their programme one of our two alignments:
International work/ aid or rescue service. Within these our goal is that the student whatever alignment will feel safe and understand the importance of his/her interacting with people in exposed situations and feel proud of his/her own specific qualifications. We want to stimulate our students to work/ keep studying within his/her field.
The strength in our enterprise lies foremost in its´ small scale. It provides our school staff and students with the possibility of a close personal contact and creates a continuous learning process.
