Västerås Fria Gymnasium has its own student housing.
Our school has a national admission and finds the housing service important for the students and their guidance to be able to offer them lodgings in an easy way. The apartments that we offer are rented partly from private, partly from the local housing authority in the city. Usually you live with two friends and share parts of the kitchen and the social rooms. 
 

In order to run a functioning student housing effectively a “second hand contract” will be written foremost with them who have custody of the students since they are not of age. This means that in most cases the parents are responsible for the contract. The student housing is fixed in a second hand contract with a number of housing rules that are to be followed to make the housing work.
